Quick Definition:
The Daily Stand-up (or Daily Scrum) is a short, time-boxed meeting (usually 15 minutes) for the team to synchronize activities and create a plan for the next 24 hours.
The 3 Questions
Each team member answers three questions:
- What did I do yesterday?
- What will I do today?
- Are there any impediments (blockers) in my way?
Best Practices
Keep it short, stand up to keep energy high, and don’t use the meeting for problem-solving. Save detailed discussions for after the meeting.
